Children will join with Armoy PS for sports activities and events.
The end of year mass will be celebrated at 10am in the school dinner hall. All welcome.

This will be followed by the P7 Leavers Assembly at 11am for the parents and relatives of the P7 pupils.
The school will once again host the Talent Show & Coffee Morning at 10am with children showcasing their talents for parents and carers. All welcome.

The school Christmas Concert will start at 7pm.

Two pupils from St Olcan’s have been selected to visit The Mayor, Alderman Maura Hickey, where they will have the opportunity to view the Council Chamber, try on the Mayor’s Chain of Office and Civic Robes and participate in a question and answer session.
A Grandparents Day Assembly will take place at 10am. All welcome.

St Olcan’s football team will compete in the first round of the Moyle Indoor tournament. Children should be at Sheskburn Ballycastle for 7pm sharp.

P5 & 6 from St Olcan’s and Armoy PS are heading off to the Bushmills Field Centre for an action packed day!
Two teams of pupils will be heading to Ballymena Academy to compete in the Sentinus K’Nex Challenge.
P6/7 from St Olcan’s will join with P6/7 from Armoy PS to do one of our joint litter picks.

Children can come to school with their hair in a mad style and donate £1 to Trocaire.
Catholic Schools Week starts on St Brigid’s Day. Children will make St Brigid’s crosses with the help of our fantastic volunteers.
Dress in red and donate £1 to this very worthwhile cause. All monies raised will go to the British Heart Foundation. There will also be a special ‘Valentines’ menu available on this day.
The Friends of St Olcan’s will hold a coffee morning in the school hall from 10am – 12 noon.

Action Cancer will present a workshop to P1-3 on Health Action Heroes.
The Izac 9 activity evening was very well attended and both parents and children got a chance to use the Izac 9 cubes and give their brain a good workout! Thanks to everyone who came along.
We have purchased two Izac 9 cubes for use in KS2 classes. Parents and children in P5-7 are invited to come along for an introduction to this fun, practical resource at 7pm on Tuesday 1st December.
The Christmas fun night will be held from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
All pupils welcome to come and enjoy a range of Christmas activities and a visit from Santa himself!

Whole school trip to Shean’s Horse Farm. Lots of outdoor activities planned so hopefully we get a good day! Come dressed for the weather with a coat and wellies.
Mr Paul Diamond will visit the school to run his Fun For All sessions with the classes.
Frank McCaughan will travel to Jordanstown to take part in the Northern Ireland final of the Primary Construction Challenge. Frank made it through our regional heat, held in the North Coast Integrated College, on his own beating some very stiff competition from lots of schools. He had to build an alien and other items using a K’Nex construction kit. He was just one of 25 teams to make it through and was allowed to bring another child along to join his team for the final. Good Luck!
The Moyle Streetwise Event for P7s will take place on Thursday 11th in Carey.
There will be a coffee morning and a talent show featuring a variety of acts from our school children in the Parish Hall on Friday 22nd June starting at 10am. All proceeds go to school funds. Come along and enjoy the fun!
